When traveling, wine lovers are always interested in visiting wineries and tasting product, but more and more folks are interested in staying at wineries and/or in vineyards. This is known as wine “agro-tourism”. Sleeping and dining there (other than at a regular hotel), walking among the vines and in the winery, and maybe even helping out a little are what they’re looking for. In other words, experiencing winery life in all its vinous glory! That’s why many wineries are revamping their facilities to accommodate this type of experience. This concept has been huge in Europe for years, but is now spreading quickly throughout other parts of the world. Many folks are making trips like these a focus of their travels.
